The branch library is located in the front area of the Chemistry Department building and spreads over two floors (ground floor and basement). The building is barrier-free accessible via ramps, elevators and electric door openers.
Access via Main Entrance, Lichtenbergstrasse 4
After the glass doors at the entrance, a ramp on the left leads you to the entrance area of the library. There, to the left of the entrance door in front of the showcases, is an electronic door opener on a pillar. The basement of the library is accessible via a wheelchair accessible elevator.

Access via Main Entrance, Arcisstrasse 21
Please, use the entrance via the left porter's lodge. You will arrive at the main aisle through a connecting corridor. Please, turn right and cross the main hall. In the nothern part of the main aisle, you will find two passenger elevators to the 1st floor. Keep to the right to get to the library's central entrance.

Pass through the matriculation hall. In the hallway, turn left into the main aisle. There you will find two passenger elevators to the 1st floor. Keep to the right to get to the library's central entrance.

The branch library is located in the building section 03 in the rear part of the faculty building and stretches over three floors. Except for the western entrance at the rear, all doorways leading into the building are barrier-free. The library itself provides a wheelchair accessible elevator.

Via the northern or eastern entrance, you will reach the library entrance through the lobby at the end of the faculty building on the left.
Access via the Southern Entrance, Parking Lot
If you use the parking lot behind the faculty building, you will reach the library via the southern entrance. Please follow the path to the right around the library building to a ramp at the southern entrance which leads you into the faculty building. The entrance to the library is on the left. The nearest entrance to the parking lot, the western entrance, is only accessible via steps.

The branch library is located in the front part of the faculty building (building section 0) on the 1st floor and extends over two floors (1st floor and gallery). The building offers several barrier-free entrances and is equipped with ramps, elevators and electronic door openers.

Access via Boltzmannstrasse
There is a ramp on the right side of the main entrance of the faculty building. The right-hand entrance door is equipped with an electronic door opener. In the lobby, on the left side of building section 1 there is an elevator which takes you to the 1st floor. Turn right onto the balcony and drive through the internet meeting point and over the balcony on the other side you will reach the entrance of the library in building section 0.
Access to the gallery in the library
There are further study areas on the library's gallery, books are not shelved there. If you want to use the gallery, the library staff will accompany you via elevator to the second floor and will open a back door for you.

The branch library is located in a courtyard building on the Nigerstrasse and spread out over two floors (upper ground floor and 2nd basement). The library is only accessible by stairs. A handicapped accessible elevator, ramps or electrical door openers are not available.
Using library holdings barrier-free
You may have books from the loan collection sent to any accessible branch via the online catalogue. If you wish to use the branch library's non-loan collection, which cannot be ordered online, please contact our First Level Hotline. We will make sure that the desired items are sent to a wheelchair accessible branch of your choice.
The branch library is located in a stand-alone building and can be reached via an outside staircase. The library extends over two floors. Barrier-free access is possible via the adjacent faculty building. It is equipped with ramps, elevators and electronic door openers.
Access via Faculty Building, James-Franck-Strasse 1
To the right of the main entrance, below the skybridge leading to the library, there is a barrier-free entrance with ramp and electronic door opener. The building is open between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. To get to the library on the 1st floor, please use the elevator in the corridor on the left-hand side. From there you can enter the library via the skybridge connecting the faculty and the library building. The library's group study rooms on the upper floor are only accessible via a spiral staircase.

The branch library is located in the western area of the faculty building and extends over two floors (level 00 and level 01). The building is accessible barrier-free via ramps and elevators.
Access via main entrance, Am Olympiacampus 11
On Level 01, proceed through the faculty building to the southern end. The library entrance is on the left-hand side, across from the cafeteria. Media collections on Level 00 are accessible are accessible barrier-free via a passenger lift inside the library.

The branch library is situated in the east wing of the former Franciscan monastery. The regular entrance to the library on the Petergasse 18 is only accessible via stairs. However, we provide a second barrier-free entrance on the Schulgasse.

Take the main entrance to the monastry in the inner courtyard between Schulgasse 20 and 22. In the lobby, turn to your right and follow the signage to the barrier-free entrance. Please, ring the door bell and the library staff will grant you access.
