TUM has recently become a partner of SciPost(link is external), a platform for open access publications. SciPost is run by and for scientists and is dedicated to all aspects of physics with its three current journals – SciPost Physics(link is external), SciPost Physics Proceedings(link is external) and SciPost Physics Lecture Notes(link is external). SciPost is financed by the contributions of the so-called supporting partners, which include TUM, CERN, the Research Centre Jülich and the Max Planck Digital Library, among others.
SciPost offers TUM scientists another opportunity to publish open access independently of commercial providers. The submissions are made via the arXiv(link is external) preprint server and the peer review reports are published as part of an open-peer review.
