LIT Days – Literature, Information, Training

Five smiling students jumping and raising their hands up in the air.

4 courses, 3 topics, 2 days, 1 goal: Master academic work from search to cite. On 8 and 9 October 2025, the LIT Days kick off – the event for all first-year students and for everyone who wants to refresh their skills before starting their thesis.

At the LIT Days, you will gain the know-how to find academic literature effectively, organize it smartly, and cite it correctly in four compact online trainings:

  • 08:00 – 10:00 | Literature Research Basics – Finding Relevant Books and Journals
  • 10:30 – 12:30 | Literature Research Advanced – Finding Relevant Scientific Papers in Databases
  • 13:30 – 15:30 | Citation Essentials – Referencing Sources and Citations with Confidence
  • 16:00 – 18:00 | Zotero Basics – Reference Management and Knowledge Organization

On 8 October, the courses will be held in German; on 9 October, the same program will be offered in English. You can join the full line-up – or simply pick the webinars that are most relevant to you.

Register now and power up your skills!

By the way: If you can’t make it on these dates – no problem! The webinars are also part of our regular training program during the semester:

Übrigens: Falls Sie an den beiden Tagen keine Zeit haben – die Webinare gibt es auch während des Semesters im regulären Schulungsprogramm: www.ub.tum.de/kurse
