Fit for Your Studies: Library Powerday

Pop art graphic with "Powerday" lettering

Finding relevant literature, citing without errors and creating a reference list with a mouse click? With the Library Powerday you are getting fit for your studies!

Just before the beginning of the winter semester, the University Library offers you a compact overview of relevant scientific work techniques, which will prepare you best for your studies and bring your knowledge up to date for your final thesis.

At the Library Powerday you will

  • learn efficient search strategies for library catalogs, literature databases and the Internet
  • understand when and how to cite correctly to avoid unintended plagiarism
  • learn about the advantages of reference management programs (either EndNote or Citavi)

The Library Powerday contains four courses that you can take either individually or in combination. All courses take place as webinars and are offered in German and English.

Please contact us with further questions at: workshop@ub.tum.de
