Due to the rising infection figures, the Bavarian cabinet decided on 3 November to tighten the Corona measures in Bavaria.
FFP2 masks must be worn when the level yellow on the Bavaria-wide hospital signal light ("Krankenhaus-Ampel") is reached. A surgical face mask is then no longer sufficient.
What does this mean for visiting our branch libraries?
- As long as the hospital alert level is green, it is sufficient to wear a surgical mask.
- If the hospital alert level is yellow or red, you are required to wear an FFP2 mask.
- You are allowed to take off the mask while seated at the assigned study desk.
- The 3G rule still applies: Access to all TUM buildings for students, employees and visitors only with proof of testing, vaccination or recovery.
