Collaboration with "Talente Spenden"

Book donation campaign for Pfennigparade

Text: Bücherspende 22. - 26. Januar 2024 mit den Logos von TUM, Stiftung Pfenningparade und Talente Spenden. Hintergrund: Ein Bücherstapel.

From 22 to 26 January 2024, the student initiative "Talente Spenden" (Donate Talent) at TUM is collecting used books, games, DVDs, and console games for the Stiftung Pfennigparade (Pfennigparade Foundation). This campaign takes place once per semester – and we support it! TUM members can drop off their material donations at the circulation desks of the following branch libraries:

  • Main Campus
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Weihenstephan

If you want to personally meet the initiators of "Talente Spenden," you can also drop off books and co. at their stands:

  • 23 + 24 January 2024, 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Mensa Weihenstephan
  • 23 – 25 January 2024, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Mechanical Engineering Faculty Building, Garching and Main Building on Main Campus, Munich

What happens to the donations? Stiftung Pfennigparade advocates for the inclusion and societal participation of people with disabilities. The received material donations are resold at affordable prices in the "Münchner Bücherkisten" (Munich Book Boxes). The proceeds contribute to further inclusion projects.
