Who can reserve study carrels?
- TUM students and TUM staff
- Reservations may not be transferred and made on behalf of others.
How to reserve
- Reserve online via the reservation system (in preparation, coming soon).
- Log in with your TUM ID.
- Book up to 3 months in advance – same-day bookings are also possible.
Reservation limits
- Booking quota: 8 weeks per year.
- Minimum booking duration: 1 week, always starting on Monday.
- The quota resets each year on 1 January at midnight.
When does my reservation expire?
- After 48 hours, if you do not show up or fail to check in.
- Expired reservations will not be refunded to your booking quota.
Additional rules
- Doors of study carrels are not lockable.
- Others are allowed to use the carrel when you are absent.
- For short absences, we recommend the use of a clock disc during breaks.
- Drinks are allowed in tightly sealed containers.
- No food or alcohol allowed.
- The University Library's House Rules apply.
