Modern Studying and Learning Environment

On 23 May 2019, our Branch Library Medicine reopened its doors after a fundamental modernization. This provides students, teachers, and researchers at the TUM Campus Klinikum rechts der Isar with an attractive place to study and work.

In addition to access to the University Library's wide range of information resources, the branch library now also offers various workplaces with modern infrastructure, four group rooms, twelve individual study cubicles (so-called carrels), as well as a comfortable lounge area during regular opening hours. A collection of textbooks, journal volumes, and additional literature are located in the 2nd basement.

The modernization of the branch library was made possible not only through the support from the TUM Executive Board but also thanks to funding from TUM students via tuition fee resources.
