The database wiso not only enables the search for economic and social science literature, but also offers access to more than 3.5 million statistics on more than 30,000 topics from the fields of economy, trade, sectors & companies, energy & environment, education & science, population & health and much more via the new statistics module Tilasto.
The content comes from renowned sources such as the UN, the World Bank, the EHI Retail Institute or the Federal Statistical Office. The statistics are interactive and can be analyzed directly or further processed by export.
Tilasto is accessible to TUM members on the wiso platform via eAccess (login with your TUM ID). Alternatively, you can also access via proxy if you use a PC with LAN connection within the university network of the TUM (... and this is how it works). External users can use the database at the PC workstations in the sublibraries.
