For the field of medicine, the University Library offers you a new database, the Human Anatomy Atlas by Visible Body®.
The atlas contains over 6,000 anatomical structures with detailed definitions and Latin technical terms. You can view the skeleton, muscles, nerves, vessels and organs on interactive 3D models and gain insight into the macro- and microanatomy of the human body.
In addition, the database contains descriptions of diseases and injuries as well as a quiz function with more than 1,000 questions to deepen your knowledge.
TUM members can access Human Anatomy Atlas via eAccess. Please log in with your TUM ID. External library patrons can access the database at public computers in our branch libraries.
It can also be used with mobile devices under iOS or Android:
