Our e-newspapers

New York Times, SZ, RiffReporter & Co.

Tageszeitungen und Laptop

Would you like to read German or international newspapers – regardless of time and place? Do you want to be up-to-date on a daily basis and conveniently access e-paper editions or newspaper archives? Then take advantage of the University Library's online services.

In addition to a comprehensive collection of scientific e-journals, we also offer you a range of newspapers and journalism portals. As a TUM member, you can easily log in for current articles as well as archive issues.

Our range currently includes:

  • New York Times
  • Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ Library Net)
  • Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ-BiblioNet)
  • RiffReporter: a journalism portal featuring analyses, background reports, and articles on environment, science, society, technology and world affairs
  • Nexis Uni: a database with articles from thousands of journals, newspapers, and magazines from around the world
  • Wiso: a database with full-text access to articles from over 200 German newspapers
  • heise+: Contributions from the heise editorial team, as well as articles from the magazines c’t, iX, MIT Technology Review, Mac & i, Make, and c’t Fotografie.

Your online access
The easiest way to access e-newspapers and databases is via eAccess. Log in with your TUM ID. An exception is FAZ-BiblioNet. For licensing reasons, authentification via eAccess is not permitted, but it is possible within the TUM LAN with proxy configuration.
