Databases in the Field of Law

Paragraphenzeichen

In addition to literature on technology, we also license a large selection of online legal portals. They offer comprehensive specialist information on all areas of law for research, teaching, administration and management.

TUM members can access all databases online. All you have to do is authenticate yourself via eAccess with your TUM ID.

Our portfolio include:

Beck-online
The Beck-online database offers numerous modules on individual areas of law, providing access to legal texts, commentaries, case law, handbooks and journals. Currently, we have 17 modules licensed for TUM, ranging from higher education law to data protection, European law to social and constitutional law.

Juris
The Juris portal allows access to more than 25 million documents – from court decisions, laws and regulations to journals, specialist literature and work aids. The modules "Spectrum Hochschulen" and "Zusatzmodul Hochschulen" are licensed for TUM. Due to the pandemic situation, off-campus access via eAccess is available for TUM members until the end of 2021.

Compliance Digital
The Compliance Digital portal bundles specialist information on management and monitoring tasks in companies and administrations. All compliance areas, including risk management, data protection, IT compliance, corporate governance, anti-fraud management or internal auditing, are covered.

Nexis Uni
The versatile database Nexis Uni offers all kinds of legal and economic information in full text. This includes official publications, court decisions and laws, especially (but not only) from the Anglo-American world, as well as press releases, agency reports and articles from English-language and German daily and weekly newspapers. The offer is rounded off by industry information, company profiles, market overviews, biographies and public registers of persons.

Online Access
As a TUM member, you can conveniently log into the databases on your own computer with your TUM ID via eAccess. Alternatively, it is possible to log in at a desktop PC in the TUM-LAN with proxy configuration.
