Additional to classical references management tools Citavi offers functions for knowledge organisation and task planning. An online search feature allows you to search databases and catalogues from within the programme.

With the new web version of Citavi, you are able to create and manage projects regardless of the operating system – Mac OS, Windows or Linux. All you need is an internet connection and a Citavi account.

What does Citavi have to offer?

  • Search databases and library catalogs
  • Analyse your PDFs, excerpt texts
  • Create categories, add quotations
  • Write reseach papers, use Citavi's Add-In for Word
  • Select citations styles
  • Collaborate and work in teams
  • Organize your work, project tasks

Find full text search for licensed material

Via the function "Find full text" you can search for sources TUM library has subscribed to. Choose Tools menue and follow the link Options. Choose the tab "RSS / OpenURL" and following URLs:

OpenURL: http://sfx.bib-bvb.de/sfx_tum

EZproxyURL: https://eaccess.tum.edu/login

When using "Find full text" search, after having added the above mentioned link, you will be asked if you wish to "Log in to https://eacces.tum.edu/login". To search for licensed full texts, log in with your TUM ID (TUM e-mail adress + password) and click LogIn. You can then close the login window.
