Branch Libraries are open regularly
Opening Hours at Carnival 2018
On Carnival Tuesday, 13 February 2018 working hours are limited until 12.00 noon. However, all TUM Branch Libraries will be open at regular hours.
Please note, that the following services are not available after 12.00 noon:
- paying overdue fees in cash
- picking-up poster and buying tutorial scripts (LRZ Service Point in the Branch Library Main Campus)
On Carnival Monday, 12.02.2018 we offer regular services and opening hours in all libraries.

Our Resolutions in the New Year
The focus of our work is the optimal service for our library customers. That is why we regularly evaluate our services and continuously develop them. The library strategic plan serves as a strategic compass for us.
If you would like to know where we are heading, take a look at the document and find out about the specific goals of the University Library for the next few years.
In the current library strategic plan you will find 30 milestones to be reached by 2019. These are based on the six pillars of our library profile. Each milestone represents a project which will contribute to the further development of our services.

Library Website offline
Web Server Maintenance on 25 January 2018
On Thursday, 25 January,2018 we will carry out maintenance work on our web server. This means that the library's website will be unavailable from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The following service are not affected:
- OPAC
- OPACplus
- EZB (Electronic Journals Library)
- DBIS (Database Information System)
- eAccess
You can access these platforms directly via links, which we will providing you on 25 January at www.ub.tum.de.
