On Tuesday, 9 September 2025, our media and publication server mediaTUM will be unavailable from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 1:00 p.m. due to a database software update.

Due to construction work at the Branch Library Weihenstephan, there will be occasional power and light outages as well as increased noise levels from 1 September to 30 September 2025. Additionally, some study desks and group rooms may be temporarily unavailable.

Maintenance Work on mediaTUM on 12 August 2025
On Tuesday, 12 August 2025, operating system updates will be carried out on the media and publication server mediaTUM. As part of this scheduled maintenance, the service will be unavailable from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. During this time, access to the platform will not be possible.

Server Maintenance
Limitation on Interlibrary Loan, dokumenTUM, and DigiSem on 11.08.2025
On Monday, 11 August 2025, maintenance work will be carried out on the central interlibrary loan server in the morning. For this reason, the interlibrary loan service across Bavaria and our internal document delivery services, dokumenTUM and DigiSem, will likely only be available after noon.

Increased Noise Levels in August
Construction Work in the Branch Library Medicine Building
Starting 4 August 2025, there may be noise disturbances in the Branch Library Medicine. The reason is construction work for the Medical Training Center of the TUM School of Medicine and Health on the first basement level.
