Getting from hotels to the conference venue

Streets modernization around Warsaw University of Technology is happening now, which causes traffic difficulties. Trams and busses do not always follow their regular routes.

We recommend several ways of getting to/from the Warsaw University of Technology Main Building at Plac Politechniki 1 (Politechnika Warszawska):

  1. You can go by tram (numbers: 10, 16, 17, 33 or 74 - get off at the tram stop which is called „NOWOWIEJSKA” or 4, 18 or 35 - get off at the tram stop which is called “PLAC KONSTYTUCJI”. 
  2. You can go by bus (numbers: 118, 130, or 174 – get off at the bus stop which is called „NOWOWIEJSKA” or 101, 117, 131, 210, 411, 422, 501, 502, 514, 519, 520, 525 – get off at the bus stop which is called “PLAC KONSTYTUCJI”
  3. You can go by bus underground (Metro) to the “POLITECHNIKA” station

An above places are within walking distance to WUT (about 5 min).

To get to the Warsaw University of Technology you can also take a taxi to Plac Politechniki 1.

For safety reasons we strongly advise you to use licensed taxi. Taxi tariffs should be clearly displayed in the car window. Please contact your hotel reception and ask for details.

The Main Building

The historical Main Building is the symbol of the Warsaw University of Technology. It was the venue of many important historical events - from official ceremonies, congresses and meetings to rallies, protests and demonstrations.

The Main Hall

Today, the University Main Hall is a famous and prestigious venue in Warsaw where many social and cultural events are organized, attended by prominent guests such as Polish Presidents, Prime Ministers, Marshalls of the Polish Sejm and Senate. The New Year’s Eve Ball hosted in the Main Hall has become an important annual social event in Warsaw.

The Warsaw University of Technology often hosts both national and international scientific seminars and congresses.
