Invitation to the 29th annual IATUL Conference

The International Association of Technological University Libraries (IATUL) and Auckland University of Technology are very pleased to invite you to Auckland, New Zealand to take part in the 29th IATUL conference with the theme Digital discovery: strategies & solutions,  to be held from 21 April - 24 April 2008.

Many countries have developed digital strategies. For example the New Zealand Digital Strategy is about creating "a digital future for all New Zealanders, using the power of information and communications technology".

IATUL libraries play a vital part in the success of national strategies by contributing to digital discovery in their own institutions, through developing e-infrastructure for research discovery and using Web 2.0 for learning discovery.

Follow in the footsteps of the Polynesian explorers on their voyages of discovery, and the European re-discovery of Aotearoa New Zealand, and share experiences of digital discovery for the digital future. We are sure that you will enjoy the company of your IATUL colleagues in the exciting destination of Auckland, New Zealand.
