IATUL Travel Grant Program

IATUL operates an annual Travel Grant Program to assist first-time attendees at the IATUL Conference who are from outside of the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and EU countries. The purpose of the Travel Grants is to encourage participation by institutions that are currently not members of IATUL. Travel grants will be awarded to library and/or information professionals whose libraries qualify for membership in IATUL.

The IATUL Board has introduced a Travel Grant Program to support individuals from developing countries in order to increase the number and range of countries that participate in IATUL conferences.

When applying for a Travel Grant, please remember that English is the official language of the organization and its annual conference.

The Travel Grants are not intended to cover the full cost of attending the conference. They can be used for Conference registration costs and other travel expenses. The maximum amount of the grant for one person is Euro 1.000.

Conference organizers will not offer assistance with visa applications.
