Swedish Universities of Technology Libraries (SUTL)

The Royal Institute of Technology Library (KTHB) was appointed national resource library for technology and science (TGV) in 1989 as the largest resource for Scientific and Technical Information in Sweden

To achieve its goals a network was formed of major Swedish university libraries with services to faculties of technology. This group was renowned under the abbreviation SUTL (Swedish Universities of Technology Libraries). The libraries act together to enhance their services and continued developments to support higher education and research.

The Royal Library (KB) annually supports a system of national resource libraries and contributes financially to some coordinating activities. Two working areas of today are consortias for licence agreements of special faculty interests and library staff training.
