IATUL provides a forum for the exchange of ideas relevant to librarianship in technological universities throughout the world and gives library directors and senior managers an opportunity to develop a collaborative approach to solving common problems. Membership in IATUL is institutional and includes major scientific and engineering universities.

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology has the honour of hosting the 34th annual IATUL conference (14-18 April 2013) at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa.

The theme of the 2013 conference is “Doing it together: effective collaboration in scientific and technological university libraries.” The Conference will be focusing on how academic libraries are using collaboration both within their own organizations, and in a wider context in order to achieve their goals.

This conference promises to provide an excellent opportunity to present your company to the university librarians, library directors and senior managers from scientific and technological university libraries worldwide.
