Access to E-Journals
You can find our range of e-journals in the Electronic Journals Library as well as in our Online Catalog TUM OPAC [1]. Many of the journals are access-restricted due to licensing agreements. To access full texts free of charge, you must authenticate as a TUM member and log in with your TUM ID [2] via eAccess.

Alternative Access Options
- Reading Room Computers [5]
External library users and alumni can access our licensed e-media exclusively on reading room PCs. Please visit one of our branch libraries in person. For licensing reasons, remote online access is not available to library users who are not (or no longer) affiliated with TUM.

- Institutional Login (Shibboleth) [7]
For some e-media providers, access is possible directly via Shibboleth. On the provider's website, select the option "Institutional Login" and log in using your TUM ID. Please note that some providers may use different but similar terms instead of "Institutional Login."

- TUM LAN (Proxy Configuration) [7]
If you are using a desktop computer with a static IP address within the TUM-LAN, you can access e-media via IP-based authentication, without logging in. To do so, you must set up automatic proxy configuration in your browser or operating system.
