By Public Transport:
From Munich Central Station: Take a S-Bahn (any urban rail line) to Marienplatz, change for underground line U6 to Garching, deboard at the terminal stop "Garching, Forschungszentrum" and leave the station in the direction of the train. The faculty building for mechanical engineering is located across from the underground station. The Branch Library is situated in the 1st wing of the building, access on the 1st floor to the right of the main entrance. By Car:
Travel north from Munich (or south from Ingolstadt) on the A9 autobahn and take the Garching Nord exit (exit 70), continue east to Garching Research Center, then turn left on Boltzmannstrasse. The faculty building for mechanical engineering is located across from the underground station. The Branch Library is situated in the 1st wing of the building, access on the 1st floor to the right of the main entrance.
